A Dialogue between the TSU Chapter of AAUP and President Paino

In response to the survey just given by the TSU Chapter of the Association of American University Professors, the chapter wishes to discuss the findings in a forum setting. This forum will address the critical issues impacting faculty salaries, the history of salary parity at Truman State over the past decade, and the concerns of faculty, discussing these matters as we proceed.
Representatives from AAUP will discuss the findings, address in greater detail how our salaries compare unfavorably with those of similar institutions, and begin presenting options for moving forward. President Paino will present the administration’s perspective on the salary issue.
A question and answer period will follow.
